License and Terms of Service

These user Terms of Service govern your use of our software. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not check the box at the bottom of the screen, and please close the program now.

Medinet Mail is the property of Medinet Health Systems Inc. ("Medinet"), a BC company. The software copyright is owned by Medinet, and you are not permitted to copy, distribute, reverse-engineer or otherwise alter or reproduce the software, the user interface or the underlying source code.

You have been included in the system as a Subscriber User ("Subscriber"). As a Subscriber you are permitted to send and receive mail messages to other Subscribers and to existing Guest users, and to invite others to become Guest users after completing our simple registration process. Mail messages will not be delivered to addressees who do not register as either a Subscriber or Guest user.

You may not use Medinet Mail to distribute content that is illegal, improper, or containing offensive language or pornography.

Medinet Mail is a private and confidential system. Accordingly, you must create a strong password, and change it occasionally or when required by Medinet. You may not share your password with another person.  You must comply with all privacy standards, including those published by the Ministry of Health and the health authorities of the province of British Columbia.

You will be billed monthly in advance. Accounts outstanding after the twentieth day of the month may be suspended until your account is in good standing. Longer term arrangements are available. If you wish to cancel your Subscriber account you will remain on the system as a Guest user, providing you agree with the Guest terms and conditions.  No refunds will be made for partial month usage.

Medinet will maintain logs of all your communications, including date, time, sender and addressee. You may request a copy of a log file for your account on reasonable notice. The content of Medinet Mail messages is encrypted and will not be logged. The log files will be used for internal management purposes only and will not be shared with third parties unless ordered by a court. The contents of your messages are your property.

Medinet Mall is provided "as is" and Medinet makes no promises about the suitability of Medinet Mail for your purposes, nor does Medinet guarantee that messages will be delivered in a timely manner, or that messages will not be lost or wrongly delivered. Medinet is not responsible for lost profit or revenue or financial losses either direct or indirect arising out of defects in the software or for any other reason.  Any claim for reimbursement or damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the immediate past twelve months.  Medinet reserves the right to substitute free future use of Medinet Mail for such claims.

In addition, Medinet reserves the right to terminate your service at any time for any reason.

From time to time Medinet may upgrade the software and will attempt to provide reasonable warning of expected changes; however, such changes to the software or the timing thereof are at Medinet's sole option. Medinet is not responsible for any disruption to your workflow.
